Although virtually every one of our engagements average between 4-5 hours, we allow our customers the option of contracting with us on a minimum 3 hour basis. We only book 1 engagement a day to allow customers the option of extending their event. This sample Itinerary is shown with an extended event (Hours 4 & 5).
A SAMPLE WEDDING ITINERARY
- FIRST HOUR: Usually referred to as the cocktail hour. Backround music consisting of light jazz, instrumentals, soft rock, country, pop and contemporary music. A careful blend of your light and easy favorites from yesterday and today. Bride & Groom are usually busy taking pictures during this hour.
- SECOND HOUR: Bridal Party Introductions, Bride & Grooms First Dance, Bridal Party Dance, Blessing and Best Mans Toast. Background music & dinner music while guests are dining. Although these events usually happen in this order, we will be happy to modify or change them if you would like. We have utilized this format for over 20 years with very few changes and it has worked extremely well.
- THIRD HOUR: Cake Cutting Ceremony, Father & Daughter Dance, Groom & Mother Dance. Dancing for everyone. A continuous blend of oldies to current music to include Ballads and up tempo popular dance music.
- FOURTH HOUR: Bouquet & Garter Ceremony, Dollar Dance and other specialty dances, Bride & Grooms last dance and going away song. A continuing blend of today and yesterday’s dance music. (NOTE) If the reception will last longer than 4 hours some of the events in this hour will be extended into this hour.
- FIFTH HOUR: (Optional Overtime) Continuous dance music and guests requests, any traditional events that we’re moved from the fourth hour and the Bride & Grooms last dance and the receptions final dance.
* PLEASE NOTE: This schedule and timing of events is subject to change according to the needs and requests of the Bride & Groom. Although this is a tried & tested suggested schedule of timing & events, it can modified according to the request of the Bride & Groom. All of the above events can be fit into a 3 hour reception, however it is very tight.
